Save Money with Juice in the Box

Juice in the Box

My kids love juice boxes and pouches BUT they tend to waste them or drink more than one at a time. Honestly the boxes and pouches cost much more per ounce than a big bottle so I rarely buy them. I am a frugal mom and paying more just for convenience just doesn’t cut it for me. Plus you have to think about all of that waste! How many pounds of waste do these disposable boxes and pouches add to the landfills each year? I recently came across a company called Juice in the Box, they make REUSABLE juice boxes!!!! I loved the idea immediately and contacted them. They sent me two of their boxes for my kids to review.

BPA and Phthalate free, easy to clean and comes in five beautiful colors – green, orange, pink, red and blue. They are  virtually indestructible and spill-proof which is great for my boys because they love to dump their drinks from cup to cup and blow bubbles in their drinks. Now I have a lot less mess to clean up! I like the variety of colors. I was able to get my boys their favorite colors so they know which box is theirs.

The top lid locks so the straw stays covered and clean when not in use and opens easily with the push of a button. The top part has a seal that keeps the box from leaking if tipped over. It is easy to get the top part open for an adult but not for small kids which is a plus! The straw on the inside comes off so you can wash it thoroughly. That is good for me because I am a germaphobe!

Overall I am very happy with the Juice in the Box containers. They are an excellent alternative to disposable boxes and pouches. I would recommend them to any parent! You can buy them for $12 from juiceinthebox.com.
